The Neon is a truly underrated car. Pretty decent suspension, more power than it's contemporary rivals and can be had dirt dirt cheap. They make great cheap rallycross and autocross cars, or are fantastic for lemons/chumpcar.

I'd say this could fall under the category of 2nd fastest car on earth really. We all know nothings faster then a rental car, but if you get your hands on a dirt cheap car, so cheap you don't care about it, it'll be almost as fast. My pick up is that cheap, it's still slow though..but it's good off road, just point it at something, and clutch drop at raised rpms till it's on top of that something, it's also fairly good at running into things, and also at snow drifting
